Still Life for Printmaking

The course will begin with drawing using a range of materials such as charcoal ,ink and collage from objects and natural forms, looking specifically at shape, pattern and texture. You’ll then develop your ideas into mono prints using both the ‘drawn’ method and using stencils to develop imagery. You’ll learn how to use the etching presses in the workshop and gain an understanding of working with oil based inks to create unique mono prints.
